In the case of offset printed books, you do not need to be previously registered; we will automatically redirect you to the Ediciones Mensajero's website, the official distributor of the publications of the University of Deusto. You can place your book orders on this website.
Once you have logged in by entering your username and password, you can order books in electronic format or print-on-demand books. You just have to go to the
Once you have seen the product details, the book can be available in electronic and/or print format depending on the characteristics of each edition. In the first case, it can be available in PDF
In the case of electronic books, both PDFs and EPUBs, when you click on the “Buy” button, a screen will appear indicating the licences related to that file. You can add it to your shopping basket by clicking on the corresponding button.
"Print-On-Demand" is a new digital printing technique which delivers, literally, print on demand. This means that there is not a previous print run but you can order a small number of copies (usually one, although you can order any quantity). This production system allows to obtain printed copies of books published by the University of Deusto and that are sold out, out of print, or have only been edited in digital format. The average delivery time is 5 working days for deliveries in Spain, and 8 for deliveries overseas.
In the case of print-on-demand books, click on the “Buy” button and the book will be directly added to your shopping basket.
In both cases, a new screen should appear with the following message on it: “The book has been successfully added to your basket”.
You can see your shopping basket in the “My shopping basket” section (top right-hand side).
In this section, you can remove the items from your shopping basket
If you click on the “Continue purchase” button, you are now ready to begin the purchasing process of all the items in your shopping basket. You can pay through PayPal or BBVA’s payment gateway, with VISA or MASTERCARD credit cards.
Then, in the following screen “Confirm order”, you can see the list of items and the total price (VAT included), as well as your invoice details. Delivery rates and the delivery address only refer to physical shipments of Print-On-Demand books, not to electronic books, either PDFs or EPUBs. You can change both your invoice details and delivery address, if you consider it necessary.
You can select the electronic payment system, by clicking on the corresponding button:
Payment is made in euros (€), so you should verify the exchange rate between the Euro and your country’s currency, and whether your bank charges commission for currency Exchange. The whole process is done through secure payment systems.
If you choose to pay through PayPay, you will be redirected to the PayPal website, where you will have to log in to your account and accept payment.
If you use BBVA’s payment gateway, you will have to fill in a form with your credit card details. Please note that some credit cards can only be used for payment in the holder’s country and cannot be used for online payments. If you have any queries, you should contact your bank.
Once you have accepted PayPal payment, or filled in the bank’s payment gateway form (credit card number, expiry date, CVV2/CVC2 code, etc.) and payment has been made, the following message will appear if payment has been successfully completed:
“Your payment via BBVA's secure online payment system has been accepted. Thank you.”
"Your payment via PayPal has been accepted. Thank you for your purchase."
