Humanitarian Aid and Development
The Humanitarian Aid and Development collection offers, in handbook format, the texts produced within the Master’s in International Humanitarian Action-NOHA. This Master’s course is an inter-university and multidisciplinary postgraduate programme that is taught by seven members of the NOHA (Network on Humanitarian Assistance) university network: Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium; Université d’Aix-Marseille III, France; Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany; University College Dublin, Ireland; University of Deusto, Spain; Uppsala University, Sweden, and Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, the Netherlands.
It is structured into four main parts (crash course, core module, specialist module, research and internships). The programme is supported by a large number of non-governmental organisations, international organisations and other relevant actors in the field of humanitarian action.
